June 14, Day 2. Woke up and had our free breakfast at the youth hostel. 2 buns, 3 pieces of meat some cheese and juice. Not enough! I grabbed some buns off the trays waiting to be cleared, 2 or 3 and ate them. We headed out to see Frankfurt cause we weren't leaving until 7 pm - check out at the hostel was at 8am. We checked out a church / Abby by the river and walked accidentally into the sleazy part of town. Pictures of naked women everywhere, hookers on the corners, and people shooting drugs through hypodermic needles in broad daylight in one place. We got our rail passes validated and hopped on our train (speed train) to München, we changed trains in München and boarded one for Florence (a Night train) we had a bit of a problem finding / getting to our seats but met a nice couple from Minneapolis. |
